Lois "Ann" Geris - Obituary

ois Ann (Webb) Geris, 82, of Fort Washington, Maryland passed away on May 1, 2026. She was born February 20, 1944, a daughter to the late Mack Webb and Marguerite (Greenslate) Webb. She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles Allen Geris, three sisters Florence (Webb) Hunt, Mary (Webb) Hamilton, and Adria (Webb) Hunt and one brother M. Bennett "Ben" Webb. She is survived by her son Matthew (Rebecca) Geris of Halethorpe, Maryland; and Grandchildren Quinn Geris and Emery Geris; one sister Sue (Steve) Englebrecht and one brother Joe (Karen) Webb. She was a 1962 graduate of McKell High School. After graduation she moved to Washington DC where she worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 41 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and time with her grandchildren and friends. In lieu of flower, please make a donation to Johns Hopkins Children's Center or the Helping Up Mission. Relatives and friends are invited to Ann's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral at 12 noon at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
